Mahalanobis

Program: MAHALWR.EXE

A program that calculates the Mahalanobis Distance Index of the abnormality of an individual's subtest scatter on the WAIS-R. The method was developed by Burgess (1991). The current version can only be used with a full-length WAIS-R; I may get round to modifying it for use with short-forms. To download click here.

For essential background details on the psychometric methods implemented in the program see the following papers:

Your web browser is most probably configured to recognise that the files are executable. If you have any problems (i.e. the browser treats them as text files), hold down the shift key when clicking. If your network does not allow downloads of executables then downloading the zip file is a solution.

Once downloaded, the programs can be run by any of the normal Windows procedures i.e. by clicking on file in File Manager or by placing on desktop etc.
