On Alperin's fusion theorem.

The purpose of this note is to give a graph theoretic interpretation of
Alperin's Fusion Theorem and its variations by Alperin, Gorenstein and
Goldschmidt (see [1], section 2 of [2] and [3]), and then to use this 
interpretation for a short proof of a result (Theorem 1) which includes 
all of these theorems.
