Blocks of finite type in reduced enveloping algebras for
classical Lie algebras

Abstract. In this paper the authors determine when a block
for the reduced enveloping algebra of a classical Lie algebra
corresponding to a character in Levi form has finite 
representation type. These results refine earlier work of 
Premet.
