The 3-compact group DI(2)

Abstract.
The 3-compact group $DI(2)$ is characterized by its cohomology algebra
$H^*(BDI(2);F_3) = F_3[x_{12},x_{16}]$ being the rank 2 mod 3 Dickson
algebra. We show that $DI(2)$ is a totally $N$-determined 3-compact
group, compute the endomorphism monoid of $DI(2)$, and investigate 
subgroups of $DI(2)$.
