Title: Irreducible tensor products of representations of finite quasi-simple 
groups of Lie type

Abstract:
  {Let $G$ be a finite quasi-simple group of Lie type defined over a field of
characteristic $p$. We determine whether $G$ can possess irreducible Brauer
characters $\alpha$, $\beta$ (of degree $> 1$) in characteristic other than $p$
such that $\alpha \otimes \beta$ is irreducible.}
