Shifts in resolutions of multigraded modules


Upper bounds are established on the shifts in a minimal 
resolution of a multigraded module. Similar bounds are 
given on the coefficients in the numerator of the 
Backelin-Lescot rational expression for multigraded 
Poincare series.
