A(p) generators for H*V and Singer's homological transfer

Abstract: This paper calculates generators for the cohomology of 
V=Z/p \times Z/p as a module over the Steenrod algebra and shows that the 
homological transfer map defined by Singer, relating the space of these 
generators to the 2-line of the E_2-page of the Adams spectral sequence for 
spheres, is an isomorphism.
