Welcome to the Shared Planet Society

Our society is a platform for all those concerned with human rights, development and environmental issues. The group is affiliated with the People & Planet network, a UK student campaigning organisation providing material and guidance for different yearly campaigns.

Activities of our society include the weekly Fair Trade Cafe, regular films & talks , trips to forums, conferences and demonstrations as well as non-violent direct action on relevant issues. Every year we attend conferences such as the Shared Planet Conference by People and Planet or local conferences.

We are frequently in contact with other Aberdeen groups such as Becycle, AU Conservation Volunteers, AU Amnesty International, The AU Veg Garden, Friends of the Earth, Stop The War, The AUSA Environment & Ethics Committee (Veg Bags Cooperative, Veg Garden...), The University Environment Office, etc.

Everybody is very welcome to come along to anything at any point during the year. The best place to find us and get involved is at our weekly Shared Planet Cafe, Wednesdays 12-3pm, look for the sign on 25High St.
Check the calendar on this website for further info.
