These sunglasses have a special film that reflects some light as well as darkening the wearer's vision. In this manner they act as mirrors at certain angles; they refract more when looking towards sunlight, and less when facing away. In this instance, the beach at Cummingston (Moray coast) is viewed as if in a convex mirror owing to the curve of the glass.
