Hi Dave - Thanks to the instructions on your website I could change the DX7's battery in a straight forward way. Here's some feedback that might help to make things even better: -- The step-by-step instruction for disassembling the DX7 for the battery change does not mention that you also have to remove four screws from the bottom of the case that additionally hold the keybord (at least that's the case with my DX7). -- The above instruction mentions to remove any E! board, but you can leave it installed if you handle the motherboard with the attached E! with care. -- The battery is actually available from Renata, type CR2032FH (it's important to add the "FH," as this is the variant with the soldering tags, and also the one with the correct distance to fit the PCB's holes). To find a dealer near you, you can go to Renata's website at and click on "sales network," which leads to a page that allows searching for a dealer in a global perspective.
