My official university page

I am an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the Computational Linguistics in AberdeeN (CLAN) group. My area of interest is creative language generation: getting computers to produce jokes, stories, poetry. Within that, my principal interest is in the formalisation of the mechanisms of humour.
